Think of the Accountability Chart as your Org Chart on steroids! Instead of focusing on job titles and job descriptions, this instrument gets directly to the root of what makes a great organization: clear accountability throughout the organization!
In order to have clear and concise accountability throughout your organization, you must first understand the needs of your organization. This is accomplished by coming up with the right structure, ie all the “seats” within the organization and the high-level roles/responsibilities for each seat (3 – 7 bullet points).
Once you get the structure right, then it’s time to find the “right people” to own each seat.
